A collaboration is a challenge or initiative hosted by WeNetwork or its subnetworks, where participants contribute solutions to address specific social, environmental, or business issues. It is a new structured, competitive discussion designed to crowdsource ideas and establish a consensus on solutions.
Participation depends on the collaboration's settings. If it's public, anyone can join. If it's private, only invited individuals will have access. There is no fixed limit on the number of participants unless specified by the host.
Yes, you can host as many collaborations as your subscription allows per month. Start a collaboration.
Yes. You have options to participate directly, provide clarifications, or respond to discussions within the collaboration.
If you are hosting the collaboration, you can invite anyone you choose, including stakeholders. If another entity is hosting and has mentioned your organization, participation will depend on the host’s invitation policies.
Staking allows you to invest Hero Points into specific solutions within collaborations. If the solution you support achieves the highest consensus vote, you earn additional rewards. You can also propose your own solutions, and if selected as the winning entry, you receive 10% of the prize pool (depending upon collaboration options). Staking is a way to engage in positive social and environmental impact while earning rewards.
Staking is a way of incentivising participation in collaborations by rewarding the consensus voters who receive a proportionate distribution of the staked pool. Staking is currently limited to Hero Points which can be used for discounts and promotions at participating vendors or simply recognition.
For example, a collaboration with 1000 participants each staking 10 Hero Points, would generate a total pool of 10,000 Hero Points. If there are 5 voting options with the winning consensus option deriving 20% of the votes, 20% of the participants will share 100% of the pool, giving them a return of 5 to 1 (50 points) less any rewards for the person who suggests the winning solution.
Currently, only Hero Points can be staked. In the future, other currencies or point systems, including cryptocurrency, may be introduced. Hero Points can also be used for discounts and promotions, encouraging better social and environmental behaviors.
Yes, as a host, you can contribute additional Hero Points, offer discounts on products, or introduce other promotional incentives to enhance engagement.
Absolutely! You are encouraged to share your collaboration’s success in media and other public forums.
Collaborations can address a wide range of challenges, including:
By leveraging collective intelligence, collaborations offer a fast, cost-effective way to engage groups or stakeholders in problem-solving through competitive consensus-building.
Unlike traditional polls or surveys, collaborations enable active discussions, debates, and solution-building. Participants engage in structured competition to develop and refine ideas, leading to well-rounded, community-driven consensus rather than simple majority opinions.
We’re committed to free and open engagement with the focus on solving a challenge or improving our world through community collaboration and consensus.
